I had the privilege of speaking to some @ClemsonGC students Monday about professional networking.

Before I left class, I had emails, connection requests and thank you’s in my inbox. The @ClemsonGC students were on point!

That got me thinking about some of my follow-up experiences… the good, the bad, and the WTF!

So today let’s discuss best practices, methods and channels for following-up after hooking-up!

Q1: How long after a prospect hook-up do you follow-up? Do you ever NOT follow-up?

Q2: What are some methods you have used to follow-up with a prospect? Which do you prefer and why?

Q3: Are you automatically adding prospects you meet with to your email blasts? Should you be?

Q4: If you haven’t heard back from a prospect after following-up, can you follow-up again? Is there a cut-off you implement?

Q5: How can social media be used for following-up with a prospect? What if they don’t connect with you?
